SkillBuild Colorado is a public/private funding collaborative that leverages resources from member organizations to improve the system for meeting the workforce development needs of employers and workers in target industries. The focus is on enhancing the quality of jobs and the capacity of workers by making coordinated investments at the individual, organizational and system level. Strategic investments lead to better jobs, skilled workers, and a business focused workforce development system.

Evaluation

SkillBuild Colorado works with both a national evaluator, through the National Fund for Workforce Solutions, and a local evaluator, contracted by the collaborative.   Through quarterly reports, which cover all aspects of the organization and its initiatives, to the National Fund, SkillBuild is able to report its short and long-term goals and outcomes.

Data is continuously monitored by the local evaluation team, who has access to connect with training initiative providers and participants.  The SkillBuild Colorado staff meets with each of the workforce partnerships on a regular basis to identify opportunities and obstacles related to achieving planned outcomes.
